A “fit kit” of various wedges can be added to compliment the Split cushion. Each wedge secures to the base of the cushion using Velcro. These wedges can be added or removed as needed for on-the-spot customization. This also allows for modifications to be easily made to the cushion if the user’s condition should change.
The Geo-Matrix™ Split is indicated for users at moderate to high risk of skin breakdown, as well as for treatment of pressure injuries.
To further the Split’s custom feel and protection there are different insert options that may be add underneath the high risk coccyx section. These inserts are:
