Each gel layer is easily removable, so that they can be cleaned in a front-loading washing machine.  You can also ask Blake Medical to bond the gel together, so that they are not misplaced.  Either way, Geo Matrix all-gel cushions are mistake proof, because they can go on a wheelchair sideways, backwards and even upside down.
